    Questions MaterialFlow answers

    • ? What was different on the night shift?
    • ? How do we keep brightness stable across all shifts?
    • ? Where do the spots on our paper come from?

    The benefits

    Stabilize production

Material fluctuations are detected before they affect the process.

    Around the clock

Complete insight into the material flow, every shift. What arrived on the belt at night is fully documented and still analyzable in the morning.

    Composition, volume, brown share

The AI analyzes composition, volume, brown paper share and more based on optical characteristics.

    Optimize recipes with data

All material data captured without gaps, as the basis for plant optimization and audit-ready for certifications.

    How it works

    1. 1

      Capture on the conveyor

UpCircle™ Station captures the material flow on the feeding conveyor, hands-off.

    2. 2

      AI analysis

The AI turns the images into structured data on composition, volume and quality.

    3. 3

      Act

Line managers see the results live in the MaterialFlow module at analytics.upcircle.ai.

    Frequently asked questions

    What does UpCircle™ MaterialFlow show?

A continuous view of the recovered paper flow on the intake conveyor: composition, volume, brown paper share and further quality data, documented for every shift.

    Which hardware does MaterialFlow need?

UpCircle™ Station, a sensor unit mounted above the existing feeding conveyor. It is retrofittable, draws about 0.5 kW and connects via Ethernet or the mobile network.

Does MaterialFlow interfere with our process control?

No. The AI informs your team but does not control, override or influence existing safety functions or plant control systems.

Can we combine it with our process data?

Yes. With UpCircle™ Connect, MaterialFlow exchanges data with your process control system, for example rejects, additives, energy and web breaks.
